Build Your Confidence by Spending More Time in the Stretch Zone If the link to play the video above isn't working, click here to watch. I'm sure you're familiar with the comfort zone, Reader. It's safe and, yes, comfortable there. But it can become stagnant ... and you can become "stuck" ... if you spend too much time there. Because nothing changes in the comfort zone. There's no reason for it to. The comfort zone is all about maintaining the status quo. The problem with that is when you stop being satisfied with the status quo and want more. The answer is to regularly spend more time in the stretch zone ... that magical space in between comfort and panic. In the stretch zone, things are challenging but doable with some effort. The stretch zone allows us to grow and expand our comfort zone gradually. And this builds our confidence because we prove to ourselves that, yes, we can do it. The key to making the stretch zone work for you is having the courage to spend time there consistently. Sustainable Work From Home Productivity in Real Life Reader, there’s something almost automatic that happens when a routine starts to feel harder. We assume it’s us. We think things like: “I was doing so well.” “What’s wrong with me?” “I need a better system.” But most of the time? Nothing is wrong. Your energy shifted. Your season changed. Life interrupted. Your capacity adjusted. And instead of recalibrating, we scrap the whole thing — very “new planner, new app, new Monday” energy. But...
