Don’t Start Q3 Without Doing This First

Take 10 Minutes to Celebrate the Progress You Might Be Missing

Hey Reader,

It’s the end of June. The end of Q2. And, yep — somehow the year is already halfway over.

Whether the last few months were a blur or a bit of a slog, now is the perfect time to pause and take a breath.

Because if you’re anything like most WFH entrepreneurs I know, you’re probably doing a lot more than you’re giving yourself credit for.

And when you’re juggling it all — running the business, building the brand, doing the client work, and remembering to water your tomatoes — it’s easy to move from one task to the next without stopping to recognize how far you’ve come.

So let’s change that today.

Reflection isn’t just a feel-good activity. It’s a momentum-builder.

It helps you reinforce what’s working, adjust what’s not, and make smarter decisions about what’s next.

In this week’s blog, I walk you through a simple 5-step monthly review process that helps you reflect, reset, and move forward with clarity. (It’s what I’m doing this week, too — and it only takes about 10 minutes.)

➡️ Read the full article for all the details here: How to Review Your Milestones to Build More Momentum

In it, I’ll show you how to:

  • Notice your wins — even if they weren’t the ones you planned
  • Learn from what didn’t go to plan (without spiraling)
  • Use your June insights to set just one motivating milestone for early July

It’s not about perfection. It’s about progress you can feel.

Your Action Step this Week

Block 10–15 minutes before the end of the month to complete a quick reflection:

✔ What did you accomplish this month — big or small?
✔ What lessons did you learn or pivots did you make?
✔ What’s one milestone you want to hit by mid-July?

If you’re a Tenacious WFH Insider or VIP, this is the perfect time to open up your Milestone Mapping Method worksheet — this month’s Mini Power Tool — and fill in the reflection section.

This Labor Day, Celebrate Your Work Hey Reader, Labor Day (which officially is tomorrow in the U.S., but don't we all make a whole weekend out of it?!) usually makes us think of cookouts, parades, and the official end of summer. But at its core, this holiday was created to honor the contributions and achievements of workers. And that means you, too. As a tenacious work-from-home entrepreneur, it’s easy to skip right past the holidays, to blur Monday into Friday, or to downplay the labor that...

Now's the Perfect Time for a WFH Systems Reset Hey Reader, Have you noticed how nature gives us built-in reset points? The first day of school. The first crisp morning of fall. The grape harvest that signals the start of crush season at a winery. These moments remind us that the season has shifted. Things need to change. Your work-from-home systems are no different. They, too, might need to change with the seasons and shouldn’t be “set it and forget it.” What worked last spring might feel...

Anchor Routines are the Rope That Holds You Steady Hey Reader, When life feels like you’re juggling flaming torches while riding a unicycle uphill, you don’t need more chaos. You need a rope to hold onto — something steady, predictable, and grounding. That’s where anchor routines come in. They don’t just keep your day on track ... they keep you on track. And when everything else feels wobbly, they give you something to grab onto. I did a deeper dive into anchor routines for WFH entrepreneurs...
