These life lessons aren't new. I've heard them from many people. You have, too. But hearing them from the perspective of a pencil, made them resonate with me a little differently. You, too? While these 5 are powerful and important to remember, I'm going to be so bold as to add another lesson to help the pencil live a fulfilled and successful life: 6. Be the best pencil you can be. Don't compare yourself to an ink pen, marker, or crayon. Embrace who you are and live in the spotlight of your strengths. Which of these pencil lessons are resonating most with you today, Reader?
